Born in 1954 on Christmas day it was almost destiny young Michael would make a name for himself. Riding his bicycle past Raymond De Cusaks local art studio at the crisp age of 14 it was clear young Michael may have caught the art bug. Stopping and peaking inside De Cusaks window whilst the master taught his students a young artist was soon to be discovered. Eventually Raymond would notice and invite him inside where Michael’s obsession with art began.

Michael would continue to work part time and learn under Raymond until the age of 18 where he decided to commence his own college of painting later known as the Michael Zaiter college of arts based in Merrylands. Teaching classes of 10-15 students at a time over 40 plus years we now have a long line of both young budding and well-seasoned artists to come threw the time tested school of arts.

Using various mediums of acrylic and oil paints he became a master in Australian landscape art, teaching and creating art whilst constantly reinventing the wheel he quickly became a popular judge for many exhibitions also. Using this as a platform to further invent and market his innovative works
